About Us

We are just a group of twitter users who are (mostly) located in Utah, who also enjoy golf.  The Utah sports twitter community is pretty tight knit and fairly competitive, this tournament allows us to get to know one another a bit better and compete for bragging rights and a giant check. You do not get to create your own team in the Utah Social Open, as the goal is to foster new relationships between those with whom we waste substantial time on the hellscape that is Twitter.com.
